Aloha Everyone! This last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind for me. I started out in Lake Tahoe, then to North Carolina, off to Las Vegas and lastly Maui. Whew! Here I am with David Wight and James Coleman with collectors that came from Ohio that collected all three of us. Thanks for supporting the arts!

This painting was eyed the whole show but found a nice home. The burning reds will sure give comfort on those chilly evenings.

These collectors bought a special painting with a special remark...

A Great White Shark breaching near the Golden Gate Bridge. This had to be the most unusual highlighting request ever!

Here is James painting on site. If you ever get the chance to watch him work you should! He is one of the most talented artist ever.

Here we are with the gentlemen of the gallery. This group shot was taken after the show.

One of the joys of touring with friends is spending time with them after the show. We dine at a local eatery in the Marriott village.

The next show was at Ocean Treasures in Corolla, North Carolina in the outer Banks. I had never been there before so this was a really a special treat for me.

This was the two views from the pier. A beautiful sandy look at the shores of the Carolina's. I can see why this place attracts so many people.

The next point of interest is the Currituck Light House. Everyone loves and paints the Hateras light house but this one is closer and has plenty of Charm.
Here is the stairs shot above me. It was amazing to think how this was built and what it meant to lost travelers.

Once on top you get a nice view of the land mass they call the outer banks. Nice home, great for spending time near the sea.

This was my first show there. Gallery owners Fred and his wife Tracy pose with Dan and I and an art teacher staff member.

Dan poses with his collectors who got one of his beautiful surfboards.

I pose with this wonderful collector who bought one of the seascapes that look like the local scenery. She ended up getting a volcano painting.

These folks picked up Dockside Hope. I even put in their initials on the dock. What a great way to personalize the art!

Folks were having a good time watching us paint and hanging out.

Fred's Daughter lends a hand a learns a thing or two about oil painting.

Jerri and her husband Mike got this brush stroke and a very special commission.

After the show I pay a visit to Kitty Hawk where the Wright brother flew the first airplane. It was an interesting experience. Kind of cool knowing that the works of two brothers can influence the whole world.

The next show was in Las Vegas with David Wight and Jim Warren. I have done a lot of shows with these guys this year and were still not finished.

Lena and Rebecca pose for a spirited shot. I am doing a "Firewoman" Calendar and these two ladies will surely be on it. Look for it coming soon.

This collector bought this gem of a painting. She even picked up a print called Cause and Effect.

These folks own "Fellowship Of Light" and found room for this beautiful original. Their daughter influenced the sale, Thanks!

After the shows was another fabulous dinner. Here I am sandwiched with all the folks from the gallery.

Marilyn has been on Maui since my last show and was finally headed home. She got "Hale Aloha" as a going away piece for herself. You go girl!

Darcy came to visit after not seeing her for 10 years. She looks great and was nice to see an old acquaintance.

I shared the show with Steve Barton and Steve Quartly. We had a great time with our own "Lahaina Art Expo".

Here is the very first koa painting every painted and sold. Look for this very exciting new media to hit the galleries soon.

Here I am with James Coleman and Steve Barton looking at the Lassen galleries closing. An End to an era. Well thanks for joining my crazy 2 weeks. See you at the next show.
