Aloha! Here today, gone to Maui. I did a quick appearance at the Wyland Galleries in front street. Here I am having morning or shall I say afternoon coffee in the Pioneer inn.

That evening I met this wonderful couple from the Seattle area who picked up this painting called "As Good As Gold". I explained that the title refers to the time spent looking at the gorgeous sunsets was even better than gold. You can only look at gold but you can experience the beauty and always carry the wonderful time in your heart.

These folks picked up a Love and Security and are looking to do a future commission.

Speaking of wonderful times I met this soon to be by now already wed couple Karin and Jeff. They just exuded the spirit of Aloha which made the whole experience magic. Not only did they buy this beautiful painting of a sun setting over the island of Koolawe but they also commissioned a 24x60 future painting of the place they are going to get married.

The next day I took a trip over there with Jessica, our consultant, and enjoyed the view first hand. Nothing like being there to experience the scene first hand.

Here is a composite of the future painting. I took three pictures and will paste them together plus film the process and make a DVD of their painting being being made. I will also make a hard cover book of the painting as well.

Here we are celebrating the moment. What a great place to declare your love.

Later that evening I went to a fellow artists studio and we did a collaboration together. His name is Bugavoo and he designed the original "Bad Boy" and Life's a Beach designs. As you can see we yucked it up! Thanks for visiting, see you later!
