Aloha Everyone! The last weekend in July I had a show at Poipu Fine Arts in Poipu Kauai. Here I am with the gang from the gallery posing for a group Shot!

The first thing I did was a little research.  I wanted to paint the local beach here call " Shipwreck Beach".  These shots show why I love my job!  I get to spend time hanging out and observing the local scenery during different times of the day.

Here is a classic shot of the waves breaking on this picturesque day.

As you walk closer the profile changes and you get a more rugged look.

Here is a picture I took looking through some of the trees that are growing on the point.  It has a great beach break for surfing.  A little warning, the water can get a bit rough.

Here I am on top.  There is a nice nice view from up there.  There are also some fishing pole holders placed near the edge.  Seems like the locals get a lot of use out of this point.

On the backside of this point there is a great little cove with a lot of water action.  I spent some time watching the waves break on the shore.

Here is a painting that  reflects my time spent at Shipwreck Beach.

Robert and his family purchased the number 1 Artist Proof of my New Release "The source Of Life". This will be their second piece which makes them "Collectors"

Later that evening some former collectors purchased a new original from my river series.  I also unveiled the latest published piece called "The Source Of Life".  It was a big hit!

I had crossed paths with this couple from Ohio in Key West  ;)  They picked up a volcano original and a Studio Proof of my new cave piece called "Love and Security" which happens to be the cover of my upcoming book.

Their family bought teh last gallery display of "Peace and Security". They will give it a great home and use it as their "happy" place.

Later that evening we go to have a nightcap at Kimo's.  Well that's all folks, I am off to my next adventure.
