Lake Tahoe was the first stop on this tour.  Here Rose takes a picture of me in front of the lake.  I am studying scenes for the next paintings in the dock series.
Sonja drove us all the way from the airport while Patti and I were watching DVD's.  Oh that's 30 years from now. It was the other way around.
Here is a pure unadulterated shot of Tahoe's pristine beauty.  You can see why Patti chose this tour as our family tour this year
Here Uncle Mark takes the Lucas and Rose on the edge of the edge.  A normal place for kids their age.
We stop at Coldstone to get some much needed ice cream.  A great pick me up if everyone is bonking.  Here we are with Auntie Rosie, Uncle Mark and family.
You can see how Rose does not need any spoon for the ice cream.
Sonja gives her best " I don't care if I have chocolate all over my face" look.
We had dinner later that evening with the crew from Lake Tahoe's Wyland Galleries.  Here I offered to cook but decided I should stick to painting.
Katie Coleman puts the boys to work at the wok.
The Ladies enjoy a little vino after work.
Uncle James and Rose discuss world events.

Not!

The After dinner party was hosted by Steve and Debbie Fake.  They had a nice 2,000 square foot suite at the top of Harrah's which we completely destroyed!
Here are my partners in crime Dave and Karen.
Of course Dave treated us to his unique style of toe sonata in b minor.
Bed time for the kids after a night of partying.  Its hard playing all night long!
The following days after the tour, the family stayed behind a few days to soak in the neighborhood.  Here we are at the park playing fetch the Mc Nuggets.
After dinner the family spots a playground.
Rose wants to push Sonja.  They took turns swinging.
Here I am with the ladies during dinner.  You can tell because we are not wearing any food yet.  Advice to all parents, wear dark colors when dining out!
Sonja does her best Bear impersonation.
She also watches brother bear on the ride to Grandpa's house.
Grandma was at Uncle Bowee's house so we had a piano party without her.
Grandpa was delighted to see Rose.
We also visit our friend Dean Badesa in San Francisco.  He like to swim across the bay in the icy waters.  We are content just walking around the block.
Meanwhile uncle James gives Karen a ride on the Goddard Motorcycle.  They got a ticket for no helmets and gladly paid the fine.
We had a couple of drinks as well.  It was after all 5:05 pm.
Oh yeah, There was a show where we were met wonderful clients who supported our habits.
After the show, Robin and her crew took us out for a seafood dinner. Guess what was on the menu?
Big Wave Dave make a new friend!
Here Patti's Aunt Pat and Uncle John paid us a visit.  We went to the diner for lunch and hung out at the park till show time.
Here is Rose sitting on her high chair daddy.
The kids love this merry go round on the pier.  They would have stayed all night but they got their fill.
James goes in for the kiss. Sweets before dinner.
Here is my Breakfast...
Here is my dinner... Life is good!
All good things come to an end. This shot was taken at sunrise as we head towards the airport.
The ladies slept as we head to home sweet home...
