This last mainland trip, I was able to spend some time with my family in Lake Tahoe.  Pictured here is my father Edgardo, nephew Travis, Rose and my mom Jaja.  We took a hike above Emerald bay and snapped this photo.

here is a picture of my sister Sylvia and her husband Craig.  See the smile on their faces?  They were glad to be there.

Here is another Garcia family shot.  This time we were on the opposite end looking at the bay.

Even though we were having "Good Times"  Rose was going through Mommy withdrawals and all she could do was barely keep herself up.

Of course all i could do was give her love and support and tell her we were on  an adventure and that we would see Mommy soon.

Still she was very homesick for Mommy.  Who wouldn't be after leaving her best friend.....We made the best of it.

Here my nephew Kyle was taking the picture.  He was hardly in any because he liked being the photog.  he has been taking pictures since he was 2.

After a long day, we settled down to eat.  Since Patti wasn't there we helped ourselves to KFC.  We all vowed to go back on a diet after the vacation.

For a brief moment Rose was happy eating chicken.  Skin off of course.

The next day we went to the Wyland Gallery in Lake Tahoe and Dad got to see my new Palette knife works.  He had fun looking at all the art in the gallery.

Here Rose and I pose in front of my display.

Here Uncle "James" poses with us.  Rose is still thinking about mommy.

Rose spends her time watching Dumbo. over and over....

Here is cousin Kyle.  He was great entertaining Rose.  They played peek a boo for a while and had " Good Times"!

Patti and I usually try to catch the sunset.  Here we are near at the lake waiting for the sun to go down.  It is much colder this time of the year.  Rose wears her favorite purple jacket.

Alas all good things come to an end.  Sylvia and her family had to go back to New York.  They posed happy but were really sad to leave.

Good bye boys.....

Rose Grandma and I stay for 1 more day of art shows then we head back home...  Goodbye for now!

Check out the rental house we stayed at  www.sltrental.com .  Thanks Tim and Terry Lunsford!
