What an awesome time our family had when we went to Kauai for James and Laurie's wedding at Shipwreck Beach on Kauai.  We feel very honored to have witnessed the love and commitment that day.  It was a small ceremony held during the fading moments of the day.

Here we are waiting for the bride and groom to come down the aisle.

Here they exchange vow's and give each other rings.
Rose was happy to give uncle a congratulations hug.
Kim, Scott and James pose for happy picture.
Here Walter Smack and artist "Kat"   celebrate the evening with the gang.
Here artist Steve Barton and wife Debra, John and Vera Kirkpatrick  (Owners Of Genesis Gallery) pose for a shot
Here my daughter Sonja dances for the bride and groom.  This was totally her idea since it was unsolicited.  We all enjoyed! Too cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!
Sister Rose couldn't help herself so she joined in on the fun.
Here is James' brother and his entire family
What is a wedding without cake?  Just a big dinner I suppose.  Here James takes a lickin'!
After the wedding we stayed on to sight see.  Here was Rose's favorite place, the lighthouse at Kilauea.
It rained one day and we had to duck into a cave at the end of the road to have our sushi picnic.  The girls danced and the sun came out.  Oh the magic of Hula!
Here I am with Rose deep within the seacave.
Here is Rose and Sonja playing in the cave.
Here the Garcia ladies enjoy some time in the water.  After all you can keep mermaids away from the sea!
Sonja couldn't wait to come home and paint.

Aloha all!
