What a whirlwind January and February I had.  I got back from a late Key West tour, recovered and got ready for the Art Expo New York.  Its always fun to get to go to the big apple and showcase artwork with light and aloha to all the people who may never get a chance to see the art.  We got to visit my sister and her family as well as Patti's mom, sister, two brothers and their family.   My good buddy Rich helped represent the studio at the show and we visited with the entire art community.  Here are some of the pictures that will help tell the story....
Here we are with My sister Sylvia, her husband Craig, her sons Travis and Kyle, My wife Patti and our daughters Sonja and Rose. Sylvia and her family trained down from upstate New York.   We walked to grand central station after spending 10 hours non stop from Honolulu to New Jersey.  I took this shot of the weary travelers before the show.
Here is Patti and Sonja ordering pretzels from the street vendor.
Here is Sonja watching a DVD in the hotel room and eating a snack.
Rose takes a nap, a long one at that.  She ends up making up sleep for the sleepless flight we had getting here.  We all followed suit.
Here are three generations of Patti's family.  Rosemary her mother, Patti and daughter Sonja.  It was very cold walking the street especially coming from a warm 80 degree climate.
Here we are sitting down at the Greek restaurant eating bread.  What a treat it is having her family show us quaint local places to eat.  You can see Patti's very excited!
Here Sonja gets fed by her uncle Kevin.  He came up from jersey to spend time with the family.
Here aunt Mary hold Rose as desert comes.  She looks at me with those "Stay away from my food" eyes.
Alas time goes too quickly.  We say goodbye to Sylvia and her family and wish them safe travels.
The next morning we go to BB Kings to have Sunday brunch and listen to a gospel choir.  Rose gives Sonja a great big hug.
Uncle John and his son JJ dance with Rose, after eating of course!
Steve Callahan and his four daughters pay us a visit.  Wow, four daughters, that's what I'm talking about!  A man surrounded by his fortunes!
What do you do when you are in the city?  Well we went to the museum of Natural History.  I highly recommend it.  We got out of the cold and saw some great things.
At the butterfly exhibit, Rose gets a butterfly to land on her hand.  What a thrill.  It was also 85 degrees inside which made us homesick.
Sonja and Patti have fun just hanging out.
Later that week, my brother Edgardo II came.  We got to see the sunset on the roof of our hotel.  Its not Hawaii but when in Rome....
Here I am the day before the show setting up the booth.  This was an exciting moment because of all the preparation we did to get here.
Here are the Bernstein's with their purchase of "Creating Life".
Here are the Johnson's with the same purchase, a very popular edition...
Here is my mother's friend Olive who paid me a visit with her brother.  Nice to see family as far away as New York.
This wonderful couple bought "The Color Of Memories"  which is now considered sold out.
The Zabala Family were the big winners purchasing three published originals.  This one is called " Answered Prayers". Real fitting title for the show!
Here Edgardo poses with his new Collector Fredrick Nordt.
Here is his wife whom he purchased the "Evening Sea" painting from my simple seascape line.
Here the crowds gather as we showcase the " Garcia Family" line of art.
Here Geoffrey and Valerie Pose for a picture with my wife.  They have come to visit us for the second  year in a row!
Here the Weishoff's Picked up the two Large releases we have called "The Light Of Gold" and "The light Of Romance".
Here Rita poses with the new Release and recent purchase " The State Of Love" from the "State Of Mind" series.

Sorry if we missed your picture, thanks for all of the love and support during the shows!

Here we take a limo to the hotel and then to the restaurant.  The kids loved the limo ride...
As did Patti.  Thanks Ken for the wonderful Sake!

Here I am with Scott Coleman at the after party in Zanzibar's.  Its time to wind down
Here is my wife pictured with the ladies.  I'm glad she got to come out and play!
James Coleman does his best Salvador Dali impersonation.
Jeannie Lee and Kurt from Collectors Editions pose for the mug shots
Steve Barton, Chris and Carissa enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.  Soon after they could be found streaking down 42nd ave.  Just kidding!
One more dinner with Patti's friends.

On the final day the Kelley's paid us a visit.  Seems like we got all of our visits done right in the nick of time!

The day After, we broke the show down and flew back to Hawaii.  Thanks for visiting and see you later.
