"Vengeance Is Mine"

Have you ever been so angry that you can't control your rage?  If you haven't chances are you will and here are some thoughts on channeling that anger.

There are people in this world who for what ever reason have hatred in their hearts.  They are so miserable that they are only happy when others are miserable too.  That kind of person cannot live without their hate because it is the only thing they have in their world.

Some people choose to fight fire with fire.  They combat hate and pain with the same hoping to cause the other more damage.  Others don't want to fight at all because they feel that in the end no one wins when you fight except for the lawyers. When you fight you must weigh out the battle versus the war.  If the battle is won yet the war is lost have you really won?  If you don't fight will you ever feel justified?

There are two scriptures that come to mind when dealing with this situation.

1) An Eye for an Eye

2) "Vengeance is Mine" says  the Lord

Because life is a game where the choices you make determine  not only the outcome but shapes the character of the player you must choose wisely how you act.

I say stick up for what is right and fight for what you believe in. Even if bad people get away with their dirty deeds take heart in the fact that no deed goes un noticed and in the end the Lord will judge what is right and wrong.  If there is a miscarriage of justice then " Vengeance is Mine " says the Lord.  Clear your hearts of hate and pain for that will cloud your days from what is good and remember that those who mourn shall be comforted...
