7-08 Kauai Show

Aloha Everyone!  Here are my tour photos from my Kauai where I got to take the family :)  We dine right before the show.

These folks picked up "The Moment of Glory".  What a perfect painting for a honeymoon memento.

This family bought one of the two koa surfboard paintings that I made during the show.  They had surf Lessons earlier that day and this made it more special.  What a great addition to their already nice collection.

These folks also wanted one of the surfboard paintings as well.  This will make it one of best selling themes in the koa series.

This family found a very rare Black and White painting of the arch in the Napali coast.  I really like this painting and its nice to know who it will spend its life with.

These folks bought one of the "Island Rhythms" series.  They are fans of koa wood and this painting has a twin that sold at an earlier show.  Because of the grain formulation these paintings can never be repeated.

Here are two paintings that I finished during the show.  The river and cave paintings are inspired by Kauai which makes it a very "Local" scene.

Here is a path scene that has a soft understated light coming from a hidden moon.  The frame completes it and is one of my personal designs.

"Creating Life" has found its way into another home.  This painting continues to be one of the best selling paintings I have done.  Though the middle sizes are sold out, the large Studio Proof and small ones have some left.  \Get it while its hot! Literally!

The Girls and I relax and enjoy family time.  We stay at the owners house right across the beach.  Heavenly!  I treasure these moments since I will be gone for about a month in August.

Check out the view!

The girls are itchy to travel and want to drive out somewhere.  I think they are a bit ambitious and a few years ahead of their time.  Girls can dream....

Here we wait for the spouting horn to shoot a spray of water in the air.  The girls take time to pose while Patti takes the shot.

Thar she Blows!!!!!

We attend a fair that happened to be in Koloa town Yippee!

We take in the view from Hanalei and head out to the dry caves.

The girls remember the cave really well since we have been going there since they were little.  We even waited out a storm while we were inside.

Thanks for visiting the site.  My next show is off to Carmel then Europe!
