Aloha!  Here I am in Carmel, Ca where I am in town for my first show.  I take time to explore some familiar spots like the beautiful Carmel mission.

Years ago when I lived in California, I would visit this art Mecca and stroll the galleries.  I sold my first painting here when I was 17 years old and now 24 years later I am back on the silky shores of its gorgeous beaches.

This was the first inspirations for my early seascape work.  My father would show his work in Monterey and we would take trips to see the beach here in Carmel.

Here I am in the store front.  It is located in the right side as you go down Ocean Ave.

Here the owner Lenny Shapiro and Tamara Smith pose for a picture.  They worked extremely hard to get this location up and running.

Laura watches as I paint a local scene the famed lone Cypress.

This family came looking for Walfrido art and found me!  We had a great time and in the end they picked up my newest release, "Home is Where The Heart Is".  We are also doing a brushstroke of the family!

This collector fell in love with my coastal gray series.  This painting looks a lot like the local scenery.  It is quite a departure from the vibrant seascape that I do.

These folks drove all the way down from San Francisco.  They found my work on Kauai and wanted to meet me.

Here I am adding special highlighting to their piece.  They are getting married on 6-13-09 so I snuck it into the rock highlighting for them!

Here I get a young artist to help out one of my paintings.  She was more than willing when it came to lending a hand.

Here we pose in front of my make shift studio in the gallery.

Here my mom and dad come to support the show.  We visited the mission together and they posed for this shot.  It was sort of a homecoming for all of us.

Here are the lovely ladies of the gallery.   Look for them to meet and greet you when you visit the gallery.  Come by and visit!
